An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

Face masks for guests ages 10 and older are strongly recommended in outdoor areas
- Face masks are required for all indoor locations including restrooms.
- Face masks will be required for all animal interactions for guests ages 2 and older.
Additional Behind the Scenes Information:
-Admission to the zoo is separate and required.
-The behind-the-scenes tour fee is non-refundable, however, the tour will be rescheduled when possible if necessary.
-Animal presentations and behind-the-scenes areas are subject to change based on the health, behavior, and welfare of the animals.
-Check-in is located at Outpost Amazonia. All parties must arrive minimum 15 minutes prior to your behind the scenes experience.
